Commodities agrícolas em baixa em CBOT nesta manhã (21). O mercado continua monitorando as previsões para o Centro-Oeste dos EUA, onde o plantio vai começar devagar. Os traders permanecem ligados nas informações da China sobre o COVID que mostra alívio em algumas de suas restrições e também ficam atentos aos desdobramentos da guerra que continuam sem perspectivas de um ponto final. É provável de que a volatilidade permaneça no mercado de grãos com as surpresas do tempo no Corn Belt para os próximos dias.

A guerra entre Rússia e Ucrânia continua sendo o principal foco dos players, com relatos de que os ataques se intensificaram na região separatista de Donbass. O clima norte-americano também está no radar dos brokers, devido às condições desfavoráveis no cinturão do milho e na região oeste das planícies.

Os contratos futuros de milho maio fizeram alta de 10 anos cotando US$ 8,0850. O clima frio e úmido em todo o Centro-Oeste continua paralisando o progresso do plantio e reduz a probabilidade de os agricultores dos EUA aumentarem a área plantada de milho nesta primavera em meio à crescente demanda global de milho e oferta cada vez mais apertada.
Os brokers estão ligados nas atualizações entre Rússia e Ucrânia, mas as perspectivas de um fim pacífico são muito complicadas, disse o presidente Zelensky.
A inflação nos EUA parece piorar com tantos problemas na sua cadeia de suprimentos, ainda mais com o cenário que a China continua bloqueando cidades por conta da expansão da COVID no país.

O clima norte-americano apresentou leves indícios de melhora da seca no leste de Minnesota, norte de Wisconsin, centro-norte de Louisiana e extremo sul de Arkansas, porém, as condições de seca pioraram no Texas, partes de Nebraska e de Kansas e na faixa sul de Louisiana.
